You will learn how to design M&E frameworks, select indicators, collect reliable data, analyze results, and report findings. The focus is on making M&E useful for program decisions, accountability, and donor reporting. Skills taught here meet common funder and regulatory expectations and reduce risk from weak evidence.

Objectives

1. Design a clear theory of change and logic model linked to measurable outcomes.
2. Build a complete M&E framework with indicators, baselines, targets, data sources, and frequency of collection.
3. Develop and test quantitative and qualitative data collection tools and sampling plans.
4. Clean, analyze, and visualise monitoring data to produce actionable findings and basic performance metrics.
5. Produce concise M&E products: management briefs, donor reports, and simple dashboards tied to decision points.
